On September 27, 2026, while Bangkok was still dealing with serious flooding, an unlikely vehicle appeared on New Phetchaburi Road.
A jet ski.
A man had brought the watercraft onto the flooded street and ridden it past cars and residential properties while a companion filmed the stunt. Footage later appeared on social media with the caption “B K K D R I F T.”
Then, just one day later, the story acquired a much less playful ending.
The court convicted the rider — and ordered the jet ski itself confiscated.
